Sets up an initial meeting with the individual for a collaborative analysis on his or her abilities, skills, motivation, and interests. Provides support to their readiness for employment and establishes a framework for their employment search.
JOB SEEKING SKILLS TRAINING
Prepares the individual for their job search one on one with an assigned staff. Collaboratively work on identifying skills and abilities, developing a resume, interview techniques, completing applications, job retention and networking.
JOB DEVELOPMENT & JOB PLACEMENT
Assists the individual build a career plan relating to his/her existing skill sets. After the following procedures are provided (assessments, job skills analysis, and job development are completed) and the individual is hired, we will accompany the employee to his/her work settings to build understanding of the job requirements and job expectations.
REMOTE JOB DEVELOPMENT
Assists on job search and off-site job coaching to an eligible individual who would benefit using the videophone/remote communications with assigned staff remotely, work together as well as remotely to build a career plan relating to his/her existing skill sets. Eligible individual must have reliable internet, mobility at above average (capable to go job interviews by themselves without assistance by assigned staff), and requires little to none job coaching services.
Assists the individual to learn new tasks and to adjust to the work environment/schedule, or may provide support to the individual outside of the workplace to discuss and counsel around the feelings or practical issues that arise in new situations. Conducts an on-job site evaluation for any needed accommodations or support. This can enhance work performance and support job retention.
WORK-BASED LEARNING EXPERIENCE (WBLE - PRE-ETS)
Helps as an educational approach or instructional methodology that uses the workplace or real work to provide students with the knowledge and skills that will help them connect school experiences to real-life work activities and future career opportunities.
WORK READINESS TRAINING / EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT SERVICES
Prepare the individual to get, keep and excel at a prospective job. Basic employability skills include effective communication, problem solving, resume building, and interviewing. This services also help individuals develop good work habits that will facilitate their ongoing success at a prospective employer.
FOLLOW ALONG SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT SERVICES (LTESS)
Provides extended services to the individual in supported employment who have transitioned from intensive services and require the continuance of ongoing support services to maintain employment. This will allow an opportunity to discuss and resolve any issues or changes regarding the job.
TRAVEL TRAINING/MOBILITY MANAGEMENT
Provides comprehensive, customized trip planning assistance and travel training for persons with disabilities. This will allow the individual to be in control of their own travel plans and promotes a more independent life.
